Cosima du Pasquier (b. 1992 CH) lives and works in San Francisco, CA. She received her BSc, MSc, and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zurich in 2014, 2017, and 2022 respectively.

Currently a postdoc at Stanford University, she has collaborated with a range of academic and industrial partners. During her PhD at the Engineering Design and Computing (EDAC) Lab at ETH Zurich, she focused on modeling and optimizing deformation. She is currently working at the Collaborative Haptics and Robotics in Medicine (CHARM) Lab, developing modeling tools for soft growing robots and characterizing textiles for wearable devices.

She is also currently collaborating with Otherlab in San Francisco to fabricate soft haptic gloves for VR/AR. She is an advisor for RLP Co., a silicone printing startup with whom she has consulted on printing and toolpathing methods, and most recently collaborated with to create a soft pneumatic seat for BMW.
